I know we featured EB Carpintis last week but I got a better pic of them this week and the large are on special. Quite possibly the best value on the farm at the moment.

    News & New Items
    Hey folks,

First and foremost, we hope you all have a great 4th of July weekend!  Honestly, the holiday falling on Saturday might be pretty rough for having a busy Saturday, so I'd highly recommend running a promotion of some sort to try and get people in the door on the holiday, or maybe even being open on Sunday if you usually aren't to try and salvage the sales for the weekend.

The good news is that we still have tons of awesome stuff in here for you in case you skipped this previous week.  This is one of the best weeks for overall availability I've seen here in a little while.  We've got everything from awesome nano fish like the super rare Rivulus Killifish and Kubotai Rasboras up to a veritable smorgesburg of large CA cichlids.

The large EB Carpintis you see the picture of up top are on special for a ridiculous price and are stunningly beautiful.  We should be sending out a ton of these this week, and we have a good number of them to offer.  Large firemouths are also super nice and about as big as they get.

Both of those fish we had last week, but new to this week we have additional big cichlids to offer as well!  4 Inch Cuban Cichlids have come back into availability this week.  This is one of our favorite CA cichlids, and it's hard to describe them to make them sound cool but when you see them in person you'll understand.

A lot of tetras and barbs are also looking as good as they possibly could right now as well, so great time to stock up on the cheap filler fish and get impressive results for a low price.  Glass Barbs, Penguin and Red Eye tetras, and Cherry Barbs are a few examples of this.

    South America
Exodons are the biggest I think I've ever seen come through, now's the time to pick up a group of these ravenous little dudes.  Pound for pound, these are more ferocious than just about anything else that swims.
Pinktail Chalceus are some of the biggest to come in for quite some time.
Punctatus cory cats are huge as always, great option for wild cory cats this week
Wild Julii from Peru are larger and cheaper than the small tank raised ones.
Colombian Snowballs are great as always, good average size.
Some of the colombian zebras look pretty funky right now, definitely something different than usual.
Flash Plecos (Emperor Pleco) are still here and still on special. This is the sturdiest wild pleco you'll ever have the chance to buy from a wholesaler, i guarantee it.  They've been here for like 3 months now, doing great.
    Asia Imports
Frontosas came in a lot bigger than usual!  Not saying a ton, since they're usually an inch, but this batch is the same price and much larger.
Electric Blue Rams are here but very limited.   They've been impossible for us to get in good numbers for months now, I expect these to sell out very early in the week.
Kribensis came in bigger than I've ever seen by a lot!   I'd say this group is at least double the size we normally get. you can easily tell males and females on them at this size.
EB Jacks are back and always one of the most popular CA Cichlids.  Every single store should carry and sell these.  It's free money.
Another "free money" item, dwarf puffers.  Every single store should get 25 every order.  There isn't a person alive that doesn't love dwarf puffers, and the profit margin is insane on these.
Leopard Ctenapoma are the same as always, but I think a lot of people forget about these.  They were super popular 10 years ago or so as a nonaggressive micro-predator.
Tank raised Adolfi Cory Cats are restocked and showing good orange on their heads already even at a relatively small size.
Got a few of the "freshwater" moray eels left, great size.  These are actually brackish, and do need some salt to thrive.
    Beautiful Barbs
Neon Gold Rosy Barbs got a restock for the first time in ages and they do not disappoint. Slightly female heavy but that's not a bad thing since they're the ones that are actually gold in color. Males are a nice metallic orange.
I'll stop putting Red Glass Barbs in here when they stop coming in awesome. Color and size speak for themselves.
    Hot Pics
Medium Red Rainbows can practically pass as larges this week. Color is about as good as gets on these and that's saying something.
Blue Paradise vary throughout the colder months but this time of year they are typically running big, bold and beautiful and this week's batch fits that description perfectly.
Found a couple of Platinums like this guy in the large assorted Gourami mix this morning. All are running huge with fantastic color.
New Sunset Variatus have unbelievable eye popping color this week. This varies from one batch to the next so don't pass on these.
Not the world's greatest pic so trust me when I say the XL Twin Bar Platies are huge and super bright this week.
Lemon Tetras are finally getting to a respectable size. Not huge but they don't have to be in order show good color.
Buenos Aires however are huge. Possibly some of the biggest I've ever seen. Color, what there is, is also pretty nice. Best part about these is the fact that they're inexpensive and practically indestructible. One of THE best beginner fish.
Penguin Tetras are coming in absolutely huge again
Red Eye tetras are also coming in gigantic right now
    Cichlids
Should have some Dovii aka Wolf Cichlids at a coupe of different sizes coming later today. One of the most impractical and yet most impressive of the "tank busters" as adults.
Expecting some 3-4" Cubans later today. These have amazing almost black and white contrasting patterns as adults. But don't let their size fools you. While they may not get as big as some of their other Central American cousins these guys are about as aggressive as it gets.
Got a handful of 5" Red Devils available this week. Most are orange but there are a couple pieds in the mix as well.
Large Rainbow Cichlids are also due in later today. Should be around 3-4" and at that size should pretty much be in full color.
Got restocked on Red Spot Gold Severums in both select and Medium sizes. I get asked why we don't have these in regular size as often as the other two. Well, the truth is there isn't much of a price difference between the sizes and you get a MUCH better looking fish starting with the selects (that's the size in the pic).
Mentioned Chocolates last week but only  had a pic of the medium at the time. This is what the regulars look like. If you're wanting some order early because as it should come as no surprise we are already running low.
New Dimerus Acara aka Port Cichlids are a text book example of what this fish should look like. While they may not be flashy or brightly colored they are still a fan favorite for old school hobbyists (present company included lol).
Got a few, and I do mean few, 5" Geo Heckelii available this week. Not oversized like some of the previous batches but on point and definitely worth the money.
    Old World Cichlids
Not sure what to stock for African Cichlids? You can never go wrong with any of the assorted especially the Mbuna. Lotta color for not alotta money.
Medium Red Nyererei continue to be one of the best overall Old World values. These are typically all male with outstanding color.
Got Rock Kribs in at a medium size this week. One of the most overlooked Victorians and I have never understood why. Even the females look great.
The only time I won't feature the medium male mix Peacock is when we don't have any that look great and that never seems to be the case.

Hinomaru came in much much better this time.  This is a higher grade of red crystal, with more white than red.
