Acclimation Process: Proper acclimation is critical to reduce stress and ensure a smooth transition into new environments. Our team follows best practices to help our fish adjust to the new enclosure’s temperature and water chemistry. We adjust our tactics based on individual species and properly dispose of shipping water to prevent contamination.

Water Quality Management: Maintaining stable water parameters, including pH, temperature, and filtration, supports long-term fish health and vitality.

Nutrition & Feeding: We provide a balanced and species-appropriate diet that helps promote growth, coloration, and immune system strength.

Quarantine Procedures: Implementing quarantine protocols minimizes the risk of disease transmission and protects existing aquatic systems.  To uphold the highest standards of health and safety, all imported fish are quarantined for five to seven days. After the quarantine period is complete, they must be approved by the full-time veterinarian on staff and the department supervisor before shipping to our customers.
