Acclimation Process: Proper acclimation is critical to reduce stress and ensure a smooth transition into new environments. Our team follows best practices to help our fish adjust to the new enclosure’s temperature and water chemistry. We adjust our tactics based on individual species and properly dispose of shipping water to prevent contamination.
Water Quality Management: Maintaining stable water parameters, including pH, temperature, and filtration, supports long-term fish health and vitality.
Nutrition & Feeding: We provide a balanced and species-appropriate diet that helps promote growth, coloration, and immune system strength.
Quarantine Procedures: Implementing quarantine protocols minimizes the risk of disease transmission and protects existing aquatic systems. To uphold the highest standards of health and safety, all imported fish are quarantined for five to seven days. After the quarantine period is complete, they must be approved by the full-time veterinarian on staff and the department supervisor before shipping to our customers.
Sustainable Sourcing Practices: We work with responsible partners to ensure ethical collection and transport, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.
Handling & Transport Care: We employ careful handling and optimized shipping methods. These practices help us preserve fish well-being from origin to destination.
Facility Standards: As experienced bulk freshwater fish suppliers and wholesale tropical fish suppliers, we have the knowledge and experience to maintain clean, controlled environments. This reduces stress and supports recovery during the import process.
Ongoing Monitoring: Our knowledgeable team provides continuous observation. This allows us to quickly detect any health concerns and provide consistent quality of care for every shipment.
