New Marble Moray Eels are fantastic. Some of the brightest and best patterned I've ever seen.
    Hey folks,
even though it's summertime things still keep rolling here. Had one of the busiest weeks in a while so you all must be moving quite a few fish still. So with that in mind we brought in quite a bit of inventory this week. Lots to choose from ranging across the globe including Thailand, Indo, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Colombia and of course lots of good ole home grown fish from right here in Florida.

So much to list not sure where to even start so I guess we'll go with the far east. Plenty of restocks on all of your favorites but I'm gonna go with the one that we just got for only the second time, Thai Micro Crabs. I knew these were gonna be a hit because when I was still in retail we couldn't keep these little microscopic beauties in stock. I said it before and I'll say it again, I don't get it. These literally are micro. You practically need a magnifying glass to see them but doesn't matter what I think cuz these blew out of here last time and I'm sure they will again. I had customers tell me that they didn't even get a chance to tank them before they spoken for.

So opposite of micro we'll go macro and that's going to bring us to the Chinese Hifin Banded Loach. Haven't had these guys in forever and now is the perfect time to bring them in since they're great for ponds. These guys are fairly cold tolerant so they'll do well outdoors in a lot of regions. Make sure to let your customers know how big these guys get as they can exceed two feet and are very high bodied. These will out grow most home aquariums but fascinating display fish.

So not quite as big as the loaches but not quite as small as the crabs brings us to the Knight Gobies. These are one of my all time favorite brackish species of Goby. Like most they tend to spend the majority of their time near the bottom. However they will venture out on occasion into the midsection of the water column and explore. As I mentioned these are brackish so definitely keep some salt on them. Speaking of brackish we also got restocked on the most adorable sized Spotted and Figure 8 Puffers. They really are endearing at this size. We also got in MORE BB Gobies. Should be more than enough to go around and they're even on special this week.

Not exactly a rarity but we did get in some of the nicest Chili Oscars I've seen come through here. Each batch varies a bit with size and color but these are super bright and at a solid medium+ size. We also got restocked on one of my favorite monster fish, Royal Clown Knives. Now while I often stay away from some of these monsters because they can be difficult to accommodate this is one I've actually kept myself. They're fairly sedentary and spend most of their time suspended in the middle of the water column waiting for unsuspecting prey to come swimming by.

And of course it wouldn't be a news letter without talking Florida raised Cichlids. I'm super excited this week because we got in some longtime favorites that just haven't been around lately. We'll start with one of Brody's favorites, Chocolate Cichlids. Now while I do give Brody grief for his odd obsession over brown fish this one I get. They are impressive as adults especially the males when their sporting their massive hump. Less brown but also less practical are the Dovii aka Wolf Cichlid. These get huge and like to kill just about anything but doesn't stop them from being one of my all time favorite tank busters. Less murdery and more practical are the 4" Heckelii. These guys are relatively peaceful and I've even seen them get along well with Angels. Plus their exaggerated streamers just add to their already attractive appearance.

Last but not least we're gonna start doing something a little different in the email each week. We're going to make weekly features on some of the GloFish®. I know may of you carry them but I know there are still some who have yet to bring them in. I will say that as a former retailer for over thirty five years I can say that once I brought these in I couldn't believe the results. They really do sell themselves so long as they're displayed properly. My personal best sellers were the Longfin Tetras and the Barbs. Check out the pics below and you'll see what I mean.

Chili Oscars came in hot as ever. Pic doesn't even do it justice as this batch is fire engine red.
Hifin Banded Loach aka Chinese Hifin Shark are in for the first time in nearly a year. Perfest timing as these guys make for a great addition to most ponds and they are fairly cold tolerant. Will most certainly out grow most home aquariums eventually as they can grow to over two feet in length and are incredibly tall bodied.
Knight Gobies are back this week and at the perfect size. These tend to acclimate better when they're small like this as opposed to full grown adults. Keep some salt on them and be sure to offer frozen foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp.
New batch of Figure * puffers arrived this week and they're just cute as they can be. For whatever reason the little guys seem to always sell better than the larger size. Must be that cuteness factor lol.
Spotted Puffers came in equally as small and equally as cute as the Figure 8s. Be sure to keep either of these on salt as they will thrive better and show of their bright green coloration.
Needle Gar are back for the first time in quite a while. These can actually be kept with relatively peaceful species so long as they're too big to swallow.
Royal Clown Knives got a restock this week. A bit smaller than the last batch so they're more stripey than spotty but still great looking.
New Zig Zag Eels came in showing a lot more defined pattern that usual.

Medium Koi Angel are probably the best looking variety this week. Quite a bit of hi-yellow/gold showing on them
While the Koi Angel might have some of the best markings and color, the medium fancy mix are the best value as far as size goes. Running huge this week. My suggestion-stock both.
Gold Tinfoil Barbs are back after a long hiatus. Size is pretty decent along with some really nice color showing in the fins.
Emerald Eye Rasboras may not look like much now but once the settle in and their eyes show why they deserve that name they make for great display, especially in planted aquariums.
Kubotai Rasboras are back. This is one of the most underrated Rasboras out there. Once acclimated the neon green on these is insane.
Asian Rummynose are also making a return this week. This fish basically speaks for itself. Silver body with a blue hue accented by bright red on the head and tail.
    Livebearers
    Red Dragon Dumbo Male Guppy
    Red Rose Male Guppy
    Redtail Crystal Platy
    Assorted Balloon Molly
    Kohaku koi Sword
    Vampire Sword
    Firecracker Sword
    Rad Rainbows
One of our vendors has started offering us large assorted male Rainbows. This is something we've been getting requests on for a while now as most people don't want to get stuck with a tank full of females. These are available in a medium size as well.
Good mix of Species in the large assorted Rainbows including this Turquoise.
Yellow Found in the large assorted mix.
Also found this Firetail (Deep Water Creek) in the mix.
    Tetras
I will have to say I think one would be hard pressed to find a better looking and better value Tetra than the Blue Kerris. These almost always come in as absolute stunners and this week's batch is no exception.
Serpaes are coming in as imports for the time being since Florida raised are currently available but the size and color on these is actually pretty good.
Red Eyes are absolutely gigantic this week. Hopefully they'll stay like that for the summer. Threw a quarter in there for size reference.
Longfin White Skirts are spectacular this week. Running huge with long flowing fins. You can always tell when it's summer since most home grown fish are running oversize.
Peru Blue Tetras are definitely worth the extra money over the Indo imports and even more so this week as they are on special
    Cichlids
Wild Green Severums are in for the first time in nearly a year. Super clean and these almost always turn out nicer than most captive strains.
Chocolate Cichlids are back in stock for the first time in months. Really nice strain on these. One of the best looking brown fish money can buy.
Dovii aka Wolf Cichlid are also back after a long hiatus. This is probably my favorite of the true tank busters. They get huge and don't play well with others but as adults make for an awesome display specimen.
Firemouths are running a bit mixy this week as you can see from the pic. Some pretty decent sized individuals in there but some tiny ones mixed in as well. Regardless color is really good on them and these are always a top seller.
Regular Green Terrors are back in stock for the first time in ages. Oddly we haven't had much difficulty getting the bigger sizes but for whatever reason the regulars have just not been around lately. Snag some while you can.
Albeit one of the most basic fish out there the Albino Tiger Oscars came in extra bright this week. Lotta nice red on these.
Got a limited number of 4" Heckelii this week and they are spectacular. Quite a few of the males have already developed their streamers and showing a lot of iridescence on the body.
Also in limited numbers are the large Electric Blue Acaras. Wish I could get more of these because they are always gone in a heartbeat.
Got in some medium Chewere Elongatus and they are fantastic. Look to be all males and they are showing full adult color. One of the more underrated Mbuna.
Regular Taiwan Reef are running way oversize to the point some of the males are already starting to show color. Good value on these.
    Discus
    2.5" Assorted
    2.5" Assorted Singapore
    2.5" Assorted
    Plecos & Pals
Royal Plecos been here long enough for their fins to be just about fully healed up and starting to show off those bright red eyes.
Still have a handful of Lima Shovelnose from our last Peru shipment. Really nice size on these, around 5".
New batch of Tiger Shovelnose came in last night and while they are definitely on the small side they are adorable. Keep a school of feeder guppies on these and they'll be up in size in no time.
New batch of Albino Spotted Hoplo Cats came in from the far east this week and even though they're running a bit smaller than the last group you can still see their spotting rom across the room.
Seems to be a theme this week but the Burmese Sun Cats also came in a bit a on the small side but that just makes them look adorable. Won't stay like this for long, they grow up to look like a less ugly Bullhead lol.
    Inverts
Hermit Crabs are back in from Haiti. Quite possibly the stupidest pet in the world but insanely popular nonetheless.
Fresh batch of Red Crabs came in with super bright claws this week.
Thai Micro Crabs are back! As predicted they sold out in a hot minute last time we had them. Can't explain why but these are hugely popular and sought after by collectors. Post these on your social media and I can almost guarantee they'll be gone in a day.
New "Pagoda" Snails Are definitely a different species than what we've been getting in as Pagodas. This way you can see exactly what to expect.
